Charlie Markus, who received his Ph.D. at the University of Illinois with Ben McCall, won a prestigious Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemical Sciences, to study radical-radical reactions in planetary atmospheres and combustion, using IR combs. He is currently in Cologne, and will be joining us in July.
