Remembering Mario Molina

In light of Mario Molina's death last week, we want to acknowledge his works' immeasurable impact on the environmental health of our planet. Mexican chemist Mario Molina was a co-recipient of the 1995 Nobel Prize for his work on Stratospheric chemistry. Most important was his contribution in identifying the threat of chlouroflourocarbons to our protective ozone layer. By identifying the key mechanisms responsible for ozone destruction, he laid the foundation for policymakers to make almost immediate action to protect our planet by reducing and eventually banning emission of many responsible chemicals. We honor him today by encouraging those reading to channel his passion and strength in fighting our current climate crisis, in anyway you can. Research, teach, share, and vote! We only have one earth. Thank you Dr. Molina
