NASA rover Perseverance successfully launched July 30th

Perseverance was launched on July 30th and is scheduled to land in February. The rover hosts 7 main instruments intended to help evaluate Mars's present and past habitability of the planet.

For example SHERLOC (Scanning Habitable Environments with Raman & Luminescence for Organics & Chemicals) "uses spectrometers, a laser and a camera to search for organics and minerals that have been altered by watery environments and may be signs of past microbial life."
