Over the summer, Robin worked with Doug and Tzu Ling on constructing the mid-IR ringdown cavity and vacuum system to study the kinetic isotope effect of various reactions. After construction, they investigated the impact of isotope (deuterium and carbon-13) substitution on the rate of hydrogen abstraction by O1D and chlorine radical. He is now continuing his master's work in France and we will miss him very much!
